The Fleet Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting our fleet team’s coordination and distribution of work. Organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary to help us keep track of important details that support the backbone of the Fleet organization. 

Essential Functions

•    Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner
•    Handle various accounting and data entry tasks, such as completing journal entries, reconciliations, looking up invoices, and reviewing statements
•    Review employee timesheets and ensure accuracy each week
•    Process new vehicle title work and registration renewals
•    Assign asset numbers to new company vehicles and enter vehicle information into the tracking system, including preventative maintenance, location, VIN#, make, & model
•    Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, laminators, phones, and computers
•    Manage phone calls and correspondence (email, USPS mail, letters, packages, etc.)
•    Will cross-train and act as backup for fuel card administration process
•    Regular and predictable attendance
•    Other duties as assigned
•    Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
•    Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable

Job Requirements

Principal Skills

•    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
•    Ability to follow established procedures
•    Working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel). Additional company training is provided.
•    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while supporting management
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Self-starter with a good attitude
•    Ability to maintain a professional appearance


•    Minimum 1 year of general administrative or data entry experience is required; relevant school or workplace-related experience may be considered

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary commensurate with experience ($34,700-$46,000) with weekly pay. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
  • Two days per week remote work option for non-field roles depending on position and performance.
