Great Southwestern Construction, Inc., is looking for a qualified Construction Manager for our current and future projects located in a multi-state region. The ideal candidate will possess the experience and knowledge of working in the electrical infrastructure industry. Travel is required.

Duties:

Support and Manage the General Foremen and Superintendents to maximize labor, equipment and planning process’ for the successful execution of the District’s project’s.
•Project execution for electrical construction projects to include monitoring project progress and management of customer relations
•Work closely with management team to provide updates on scheduling and overall project progress
•Work closely with the senior management team to help facilitate development of opportunities and secure new contracts
•Work with Estimators to establish work methods and review with Management all estimates.
•Work with Fleet Department to maximize the fleet resources of the company
•Manage union labor relations
•Train field personnel in technical skills and safety methods
•Follows and enforces all safety protocols established by company and safety standards
•Ability to travel based on project need is required
•Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.

Job Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

•10 years prior experience working in electrical construction required
•Experience as a Journeyman Lineman preferred, but not mandatory
•Familiarity with MS Excel and Word is preferred
•Ability to travel and relocate according to project needs
•This person must be a self-starter who is comfortable in an autonomous work environment
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
•Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
•A good work ethic; integrity
