Job Description

The Fleet Business Support Specialist performs a variety of business support responsibilities in support of the Fleet organization. The Specialist administers communication strategies designed to disseminate Fleet information or messaging to employees of the organization, documents standard operating procedures, compiles data for analysis, and a wide variety of advanced administrative functions.

Essential Functions
• Creates strategic, cohesive messages designed to educate employees about Fleet initiatives that support change and or promote employee engagement
• Develops message content and selects manner of communication that reflects the information being communicated and the audience being targeted
• Measures the success of specific communications and tailors future communications to improve effectiveness 
• Creates Fleet communications and documentation including (but not limited to): newsletters, bulletins, memos, safety alerts, Fleet Safety notifications, training materials, and manuals
• Responds to basic questions or inquiries about the information being communicated
• Compiles data for analysis and creates various reports for Fleet management
• Updates and maintains the Fleet organization’s policies and procedures manual
• Updates and maintains the Fleet organization’s page on MYR Hub
• Supports and participates in continuous improvement efforts
• Completes special projects as assigned
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned
• Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
• Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable

Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a communications role is preferred

Preferred Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration or similar field; combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree

Expected pay range: $44,900-67,400/year
