Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for providing support to management and is the first point of contact for all clients and customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when needed
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Update company contact list
  • Receive, sort, and route mail, including FedEx & UPS [packages
  • Maintain and operate office machines
  • Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary
  • Order office supplies
  • Miscellaneous data entry/word processing
  • Ongoing upkeep and organization of the office entryway, kitchen & supply closets to ensure a clean and presentable area at all times
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Principal Skills:

  • Practical administrative experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an office setting. Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.  Compensation commensurate with experience.
