Summary of Position:

As a part of growing in house engineering team at CSI, the Civil Structural engineer will bring team player approach with vast knowledge of solar civil and structural engineering principles and experience. You will be responsible for working on project proposals with estimators and engineers, and existing projects at the same time. You will be responsible for solar PV & BESS civil structural design, field construction and installation means & methods development & optimization. The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for the following:

RESPONSBILITIES:

• Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure
• Liaise with professional staff such equipment manufacturer, estimators, engineers and clients
• Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by EOR engineers and vendors to ensure structural soundness
• Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses
• Consider the strength of construction materials and foundations and select appropriately
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
• Help with planning and/or obtaining permits and regulatory approval
• Prepare designs, reports and drawings
• Inspect soil conditions to evaluate the conditions and foundations design
• Use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes
• Maintain subcontractor and vendor relations, and coordination
• Maintain working relationship with owners/engineers and EORs
• Ensure compliance with all documentation procedures
• Maintain working relationship with Company estimators
