Shop Supervisor Duties:

  • Supervise multiple mechanics in different states
  • Understand and be accountable financials at the shop location.
  • Code and approve all invoices
  • Code and approve all credit card transactions for all mechanics at this location
  • Review and approve all mechanics weekly time sheets
  • Schedule and enter all required OSHA required inspections on equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical construction and transportation equipment.
  • Constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment.
  • Identify parts or machines that need new components or need to be replaced.
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.

Job Requirements

Shop Supervisor Candidates MUST have:

  • Five (5) years industry experience (Construction and/or Utilities)
  • Five (5) years experience in supervisory role
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Successful background, MVR, and federal drug screening
  • Able to travel as required by changing job needs
  • Basic computer proficiency

Ideal Shop Supervisor Candidates will also have:

  • Aerial Training Certification
  • Three (3) years experience on class 1 to class 8 chassis service and repairs
  • Three (3) years experience on aerial equipment, insulated bucket trucks, digger derricks, and large mobile cranes
  • Three (3) years experience on dirt equipment, backhoes, dozers and electrical placing equipment, overhead pullers and tensioners
  • Three (3) years experience in hydraulic systems
  • CDL class B or higher
  • Welding skills: stick, mig, tig, and gas
  • Ability to use a wide range of personal hand tools
