Overview:
The Transmission line and distribution line Superintendent is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of line construction. Position is located on sight of project; position requires travel and hands-on knowledge of (electrical) high voltage transmission line and distribution line construction practices. Projects will consist of electrical transmission and distribution construction projects and will be required to travel throughout the project territory covering all of Texas.

Case Management
QA/QC Management
Equipment Review and Scheduling
New Hire Orientation
Works with subcontractors as required by contract
Works directly with field crew, foreman, general foremen and various project personnel to include project managers, schedulers and estimators and vendors
Recommendations for best course of action for construction methods and equipment
Develops and implements project procedures
Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures as well as safety program requirements and construction practices
Document all violations, provide appropriate notification and recommend and/or implement correction actions as required
Responsible for the productivity and progress of contractual performance of the project
Responsible for efficient use of materials and equipment
Responsible for training and development of field crew, foreman and general foreman
Qualifications:
10 years or more experience working with construction of electrical transmission and distribution line construction projects
Completion of a Journeyman Lineman program or equivalent
Experience in all aspects of high and low voltage transmission and distribution line projects
Experience working with non union environments preferred
Proficient in the development and implementation of company and contract procedures to include safety, compliance and documentation of a project.
Experience managing field crews of 25 or more
Certified in CPR, First Aid, OSHA 10 & 20 Hour courses; experience with OSHA 20 CFR transmission and distribution compliance
Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and contract documents
Seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written and a strong work ethic
Ability to travel throughout project areas to include all of Texas
