MYR Group owns all the specialized equipment required to perform multiple concurrent projects throughout the country. We provide the best service by using the best tools. We’ve invested over $100M per on state-of-the-art transmission wire pullers, tensioners, wire trailers, sag tractors, aerial lifts, crew trucks and stringing blocks.
Major equipment we typically rent/lease for transmission, distribution and substation projects include larger cranes for setting towers that are larger than the capacity of our owned 300-ton all-terrain cranes. We occasionally rent commonly available equipment such as backhoes, dump trucks, etc. for short-term need if it makes more sense to rent locally than to mobilize our owned equipment.
