We may have taken off the uniform, but that doesn't mean we stop serving. Military service develops integrity, responsibility, and perseverance. We understand that service members are prepared with the best possible training and work ethic and make an effort to employ those who have served.

Every project we build nationwide ensures millions across America and Canada can reap the benefits of reliable and secure electrical networks and systems for years to come. What we do makes a difference in peoples’ lives…every day. It requires skill, dedication, teamwork, bravery, endurance, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. The work is challenging, but the rewards are plentiful.

MEET OUR VETERAN AMBASSADOR, DAVID

I am a veteran of the Marine Corps and Army who served in the Persian Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation New Dawn. Like many other men and women who served, I experienced significant challenges when transitioning from the military back to civilian life. I found my purpose working in recruitment and play a part in helping others find their new passion.

“I’d highly encourage any veteran to join MYR Group for the opportunity to excel in their career. Whether you’re in the field , whether you lead a team, or play a vital role within the team, these are the opportunities you can find as an employee at MYR Group. Something I wish I would’ve done differently when transitioning from the military to the civilian workforce was listening to my mentors, taking that advice from the leaders, then recognizing and utilizing the resources and opportunities that I learned from serving our country.”
